As more cinemas are opening up in Pakistan every year, there is a need for an online one-stop shop for buying movie tickets. Out of several cinemas in just the city of Lahore, only CineStar offers an online portal but you need to go through a registration process that cannot be done directly from home. This is where a new online service comes in — AnyTicket.com.pk.
A quick summary of AnyTicket is that you can now book your CineStar movie tickets online with live ticket reservation data coming in directly from CineStar (more cinemas are coming in soon) and get your tickets delivered to your home. No more hassle of visiting the cinema just to book your seats for an awesome upcoming movie that you want to watch three days later.
PTCL, one of the biggest telecom operator in Pakistan, has just launched a new 4G LTE tablet — the CharJi EVO. This is the second Android tablet from PTCL, the previous one was PTCL 3G EVO Tab. CharJi EVO tablet brings the faster Internet speeds of 4G LTE in a phablet-sized device that allows you to browse the Internet, enjoy full navigation, watch movies and live TV — and also make phone calls. The price of CharJi EVO tablet is just PKR 25,000 (USD $250) and comes bundled with an attractive package and features.
CharJi EVO tablets are manufactured by GadgeIT. The feature set completely justifies the price tag — it comes with a 6.98-inch display screen, 1.2 GHz quadcore processor, 2GB RAM, has an 8 megapixels camera at the back and a 3300 mAh battery for up to 7 hours of usage. This tablet is powered by Android 4.4 KitKat — this should have been atleast Lollipop in my opinion.
Yes, I’ve finally bought this beauty! I bought it for Rs. 46,000 today and seriously, this phone is worth every rupee spent on it.
I just installed the WordPress for Android and this is a test post from that app. This app works awesome on the Nexus One.
Hmm… Lemme try adding an image and other formatting tools.
I’ve been using Windows 7 for the past 3 weeks now, and have recommended many friends to install and give the new OS a try. Many friends of mine have asked for screenshots ( I wonder why don’t they use their best friend, Google!).
Anyways, I have attached a few high-resolution Windows 7 screenshots below, which I took on the first day of installation. Enjoy the eye-candy! 😉
